Ghalibaf wrote in Arabic on his account on the ‘X’ platform: ‘The criminal Prime Minister of the Zionist entity, the Hitler of the 21st century, has made the Zionists’ plan for the future of the region clearer than ever before. The era of the rabid Zionist dog is over.’ He continued: ‘My Muslim brothers, officials of Islamic countries! Gaza is the last stronghold. Unite and hasten to help Palestine before it is the turn of other countries.’
Earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in an interview with the Israeli channel ‘i24 News’ that he feels he is on a ‘historic and spiritual mission’ and that he is ‘strongly connected to the vision of Greater Israel.’
The term ‘Greater Israel’ dates back to after the 1967 war, during which Israel occupied Palestinian and Arab lands. It is a term associated with an alleged geographical context about the borders of the State of Israel in the region, extending from the eastern bank of the Nile River in Egypt to the western bank of the Euphrates River in Iraq.
In June 1967, Israel occupied Palestinian territories including East Jerusalem and the West Bank, as well as the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt and the Syrian Golan Heights.
Last January, an electronic page affiliated with the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs published an alleged map that includes parts of the occupied Palestinian territories, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, and Egypt.
