In collaboration with the international association ‘Kaila Nansa Sabra and Shatila’, the network, which has branches in 100 Arab and global cities, has revealed its key activities, including a call for a global hunger strike on the 16th and 23rd of September. The network explained that this invitation follows the hunger strikes organized in Tunis and Ramallah, which received widespread response from activists and supporters, aiming to highlight the voice of global conscience regarding the plight of the Palestinian people.
The organizing entity confirmed that this movement seeks to coordinate and develop solidarity efforts to give them greater momentum and media impact.
It is noteworthy that the association ‘Kaila Nansa Sabra and Shatila’ organizes annual events to commemorate the massacres that occurred in 1982, which claimed the lives of thousands of Palestinian and Lebanese refugees, with the aim of preserving historical memory and pursuing those responsible.
