In an intervention via ‘Sputnik’ radio, Al-Khatib pointed out that ‘these direct and indirect messages redefine the meaning of sovereignty, which is important for the entire world and carries many dimensions.’
Regarding financial transactions, Dr. Samir Al-Khatib noted that ‘enhancing the exchange of local currencies between Russia and China weakens the dominance of the dollar and the American influence associated with it.’
Al-Khatib also emphasized that ‘Putin, through his speech and positions, reminds of the true history, which was catastrophic for the world, while simultaneously critiquing Europe, which was the origin of Nazism and is attempting to reproduce it by supporting Ukraine.’
He added, ‘When it transforms into a political bloc capable of making unified and consensual decisions, the actual shift of the global system from unipolar to multipolar will begin.’
