Grossi said in an interview with ‘RT’: “I am in constant dialogue with President Vladimir Putin. Not just today, but since 2022, when many in the West were asking: ‘Director General, how can you talk to Vladimir Putin?’ I said that this is a conflict between Russia and Ukraine, but I must speak to everyone. I need to make sure I hear them and understand their perspective, and if I need to say something, I will do so through this dialogue.
Grossi, during a session at the Global Nuclear Energy Forum, said: “I invite you to Vienna in December. We will hold an international conference on nuclear power and artificial intelligence. All companies from Russia, Western countries, and Asian countries will be represented there.
Rafael Grossi, the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, stated that the situation at the Zaporizhzhia plant remains concerning, and the agency monitors the situation daily and will discuss it with both the Russian and Ukrainian sides. He said in response to a question from ‘Sputnik’: “We will discuss everything. I believe Russia’s role in the field of nuclear energy is extremely important. And of course, this is also an opportunity to discuss the situation in the Middle East, as well as in Ukraine, to continue seeking ways to avoid a nuclear incident and prevent this serious problem.”
