Taha said in an interview with ‘Sputnik’ radio: ‘Hamas is interested in stopping this war by all available means to end the suffering of the Palestinian people, withdraw Israeli forces, and bring in aid of all forms and types to the besieged areas.’
He added, ‘We in the Hamas movement, despite this aggression and Israeli arrogance practiced by Netanyahu in Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, and Qatar, are concerned with putting an end to this bullying and reaching international guarantees that assure us there will be no return to war if an agreement is reached.’
Taha believes that ‘the international community must change its approach in dealing with this issue and act to stop its aggression,’ calling on ‘Arab and Islamic countries to take a serious and unified stance to cut all relations with Israel.’
