The report added that during the past week, 1,419 tons of food, medicine, tents, and water purification equipment arrived in the Gaza Strip. After a partial resumption of humanitarian aid delivery to Palestinians from July 27 to August 20, Israel allowed 2,187 trucks to enter the strip, covering less than 15% of the population’s needs. Most of the trucks are plundered with the complicity of the Israeli army, according to authorities in Gaza. To adequately meet basic needs for food, fuel, and medicine, it is estimated that at least 600 trucks should be allowed to enter Gaza daily, according to their estimate.
