Szijjártó said, “We must defend Hungary’s interests in both places: at the EU Foreign Affairs Council, they want to ignite the war by providing Ukrainians with more money and weapons.” Earlier, Szijjártó accused EU countries of trying to obstruct negotiations between Russian and American presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump. According to him, most politicians seek to continue the conflict in Ukraine.
The White House also announced that the United States and Russia will hold a high-level meeting next week, following a phone call between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his American counterpart Donald Trump.
As confirmed by Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, NATO is directly involved in this conflict, not only by sending equipment and military supplies but also by training personnel.
