He expressed gratitude for the warm welcome he received upon his arrival in India.

“I’m genuinely pleased to meet you again on Indian soil. We appreciate the hospitality extended to us from the moment we arrived in Delhi,” he remarked.

Belousov noted that the bilateral relationship holds strategic importance, with India being a pivotal partner for South Asian balance.

“This year marks the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. I personally thank the Indian delegation for participating in the commemorative events held in Moscow this May. Our bilateral ties have a strategic nature, and the partnership with India is crucial for South Asian balance and global stability,” he stated.

He also extended congratulations to India on Navy Day.

“Russia engages comprehensively with India in shaping the future of the Army, Air Force, and Navy. I take this opportunity to congratulate the command and all Indian sailors on National Navy Day,” he said.

He highlighted that the intergovernmental commission on military cooperation facilitates mutually beneficial military decisions.

“Distinguished Minister, the intergovernmental commission on military and military-technical cooperation plays a significant role in making effective and mutually advantageous military decisions. Today, we review its accomplishments and set new goals for the future,” he noted.
