Qaem stated that a large amount of dust and dirt entered the meeting place due to the explosions, noting that the power supply had been cut off at the same time. He added that “people split into several groups to find an exit, while President Masoud Beizashkian saw a light the size of his hands, and after clearing the accumulated dust there, he opened a path for exit and they helped him out of that opening.” He continued: “Then he held the hands of others to help them out of there, and they immediately boarded a car that had been damaged by the attack before the place was targeted again.” Earlier, Iranian President Masoud Beizashkian revealed the first moments following the Israeli targeting of the Supreme National Security Council meeting and how a “single hole” saved their lives. Beizashkian said during his visit to Qom Province two days ago: “The heads of the authorities, the Minister of Interior, the Minister of Intelligence, and military commanders were present at the session. At that moment, we saw air coming from it, so we said we would not die of suffocation.” He added: “If we had been martyred during that bombing, it would have been a great honor, but the rogues would have caused chaos in the country. If that happened, our people would have been deeply disappointed.” Last week, it was reported that Iranian President Masoud Beizashkian suffered minor leg injuries after an attack targeted a meeting with senior officials in Tehran during the recent Israeli attack on Iran. Iranian television confirmed that filmed footage documents the moment of the Israeli bombing of a secret site west of Tehran, which was hosting a Supreme National Security Council meeting chaired by Beizashkian. On June 13th, Israel launched surprise airstrikes in an operation named “Rising Lion,” targeting military sites and nuclear facilities in Iran, most notably the main Natanz uranium enrichment facility. The Israeli strikes led to the deaths of several prominent nuclear scientists, military leaders, and Iranian officials, most notably Revolutionary Guard Commander Hossein Salami, Army Chief of Staff Mohammad Bagheri, and Revolutionary Guard Aerospace Force Commander Amir Ali Hajizadeh. Israel justified its attacks by claiming that Iran had reached a “point of no return” in uranium enrichment and was nearing obtaining a nuclear weapon, which Tehran denies and always insists that its nuclear activities are for peaceful purposes only. The United States also launched an attack on three Iranian nuclear facilities in Natanz, Fordow, and Isfahan on the night of June 22nd. According to Washington, “the attack aimed to destroy or severely weaken the Iranian nuclear program.” Days later, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced a retaliatory strike against the United States by hitting the Al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar.
