Iran’s Firm Stance on Palestine and US Relations

In a call with “”, today, Monday, it was stated that the Iranian leadership has announced its firm position regarding both the Palestinian issue and the Israeli entity and the United States of America. On a level, we see that Iran has not changed its supportive stance on the issue. Regarding the United States, Tehran has repeatedly expressed that it has no problem with any country in the world except Israel, and that agreements with those countries should be based on equality and mutual respect, not on dependency, pressure, or threats.

The expert on Iranian affairs pointed out that the world and the region are now living in a phase we call the “Trump era,” where Israel benefitted from Trump’s presence in power in the United States, being completely subject to the Israeli lobby, with everyone around him following this lobby. This phase will undoubtedly end with the departure of Trump and Netanyahu. However, regardless of their presence, we find that Iran’s stance on the Palestinian issue has not changed. What happened during that phase was a test of everyone’s capabilities, which made everyone pay attention and try to address their gaps and strengthen their points of strength.

Amehz pointed out that the next phase may witness an American-Israeli attempt to impose peace on the region under the banner of the “New Middle East.” As for Iran and the forces of the resistance axis, they will not change their position on the Palestinian issue and the Israeli presence. Even the Palestinian resistance forces, we are talking about the first phase of the ceasefire agreement on Gaza, and there is a second phase for which there are no clear scenarios yet. Some consider this agreement one of the ten major deceptions. Today, who guarantees that Netanyahu will not launch a new invasion of Gaza later? President Donald Trump is neither trustworthy nor a guarantor, nor is Netanyahu.

The expert in Iranian affairs said, personally, I do not trust this agreement and see that there is a major deception regarding the international guardianship on the fate of the Palestinian state they talk about. Certainly, there are forces trying to impose what they want on the region characterized by dependency, but Iran’s positions have not changed. It is as if I see those who agree to what is happening today as if they implicitly agree with what happened to the Palestinian people and as a reward for Netanyahu and Trump for their successes in exterminating this people. We witnessed a rush after the seventh of October to provide moral support that was preceded by material and logistical support and pledges of loyalty and obedience. Moreover, those who managed the operations room against Gaza after the Al-Aqsa flood were the Americans.

President Donald Trump announced that he sees from Iran a tendency to reach a “deal” to normalize relations with the United States. Trump said during his speech in the Israeli Knesset, today, Monday: “It would be good to reach a deal with Iran… I think they want that too, I think they are tired.” Trump added that he does not believe the reports about the resumption of their nuclear program. I was informed that they are resuming their nuclear program. I told them they are not resuming anything; they are trying to survive.
