The Iranian news agency ‘Mehr’ reported that Araqchi stated on Tuesday evening that wars may destroy buildings and machinery, but the will of the Iranians will never waver. He continued: ‘If Donald Trump reviewed the recorded minutes of the negotiation rounds, he would know that Iran was close to a ‘new and historic nuclear agreement’ during the fifth round of negotiations with envoy Steve Witkoff.’ Araqchi said, ‘The term ‘zero nuclear weapons’ means there is an agreement, while the term ‘zero enrichment’ means no agreement was reached.’ Araqchi warned against repeating what happened in Iraq due to false information, pointing to the thousands of American casualties as a result, in addition to wasting trillions of taxpayer dollars. Araqchi accused Israel of exaggerating the alleged issues without relying on facts, while Americans refuse to continue fighting in endless wars. It is noted that Israel and Iran exchanged airstrikes and missile attacks from June 13 to June 24, which included an American bombing of Iranian nuclear facilities and an Iranian response by bombing Al Udeid Air Base, before reaching a ceasefire agreement.
