The Turkish hacker took a screenshot of Katz during the call and published it online along with the phone number of the Israeli Defense Minister, according to the Times of Israel. The Israeli Defense Minister, Yisrael Katz, has kept his phone number for years despite it being leaked to the public previously. According to Israeli media, the Israeli Defense Minister received thousands of hate messages and death threats following the call.

Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz stated last Monday that Israel is preparing to expand its military operations in Gaza to decisively defeat Hamas. He confirmed that the Israeli army continues to implement the plans it has set for the war in Gaza.

The Israeli Defense Minister warned Hamas that if this is not done, Gaza will face complete destruction, as he described. The minister indicated that the Israeli army is preparing to expand the scope of military maneuvers, confirming that the objective is to eliminate Hamas’s combat capabilities and end its threat.

Currently, extensive destruction operations are being carried out in Gaza City, and remaining multi-story buildings are being bombed to displace residents, according to Palestinian media. A few days ago, Israel started a gradual campaign of destroying high-rise residential buildings, increasing the number of displaced families and pushing them into harsh displacement conditions. Observers warn that the goal is to forcibly push Palestinians to move south as part of a broader Israeli-American plan to displace them out of the territory.
