The Public Health Emergency Operations Center of the Lebanese Ministry of Health issued a statement announcing that the Israeli enemy raid on the Masnaa road resulted in a final toll of 6 martyrs and 10 injured, according to the Lebanese National Media. Medical reports indicated that an Israeli drone launched two missiles at a car near the town of Kfardan, west of Baalbek, completely burning it and killing Alaa Hani Haidar, who is believed to be a member of the Lebanese Hezbollah.
This raid comes despite the ceasefire agreement between Israel and the Lebanese Hezbollah, which came into effect on November 27, 2024, more than a year after Hezbollah opened what it described as the ‘Support Gaza Front.’ Israel was scheduled to withdraw its forces from southern Lebanon last January, but it did not meet the deadline, which was later extended by an Israeli-Lebanese agreement until February 18.
Despite the agreement being in effect, Israel continues to carry out limited strikes in Lebanon, claiming they target threatening sites belonging to the Lebanese Hezbollah.
