Spain’s Jon Rahm of Legion XIII GC concluded the 2025 LIV Golf Individual season with an impressive 11-under-par 60 in the final round at Chatham Hills, Indianapolis. He achieved a 54-hole total of 191, securing the top spot in the season-long Individual Standings.

Rahm tied for first in Indianapolis but lost to Sebastian Munoz in a playoff. Joaquin Niemann, who dominated the points with five victories in Adelaide, Singapore, Mexico City, Virginia, and Britain, finished tied fourth, missing the season title by just under three Order of Merit points.

In a poignant turn, Rahm lost playoffs in the last two Individual events of the season, reminiscent of his dramatic 2024 win over Niemann for the overall title.

“Winning the season without a tournament victory is something I’ll eventually cherish. For now, it’s a bit of a struggle, and it might never happen again,” Rahm remarked.

“Joaquin had an incredible year with five wins. Some might say he deserved the title more, but the points system prevailed, and somehow, I came through,” he added.

Niemann shared his disappointment: “It’s tough. I played my best on the back nine, which I’m proud of, but the putts didn’t drop, and it wasn’t enough. It’s hard to accept.”

Rahm earned $18 million for the season crown, while Niemann received $8 million as runner-up, and Bryson DeChambeau of Crushers GC captured $6 million for third place.

On the lower end of the standings, veterans Lee Westwood and Ian Poulter of Majestics GC avoided relegation, finishing just within the top 48. Westwood and Poulter both made significant birdies, ending with a score of 201. Henrik Stenson narrowly missed a crucial birdie putt, landing in 49th place, which would have relegated Poulter had it been made.

Players relegated included Andy Ogletree of HyFlyers GC, Mito Pereira of Torque GC, Yubin Jang of Iron Heads GC, Anthony Kim (Wildcard), and Frederik Kjettrup of Cleeks GC. Dubai’s Adrian Meronk (Cleeks GC) finished 17th, and Anirban Lahiri (Crushers GC) ended in 25th position.

Torque GC claimed the team title in Indianapolis, marking their first win since 2023, although Rahm’s Legion XIII retains the top seed for the upcoming LIV Golf Team Championship in Michigan.
