A highly anticipated K-drama with top stars has been partially filmed in Dubai, as revealed in the teaser.
The teaser for Genie, Make A Wish, featuring Kim Woo-bin and Bae Suzy, was recently shared on Netflix and their social media channels.
Dubai is a key location in the teaser, beginning with a shot of the main character — a genie named ‘Satan’. The lead actor is seen strolling through what appears to be Al Seef, and later flies over the iconic Museum of the Future.

Though brief, the museum’s distinct silhouette and striking design are unmistakable.
The scene then zooms out to reveal Sheikh Zayed Road, flanked by illuminated skyscrapers along the expansive highway.

According to Netflix, the series follows a “flamboyant genie” who returns after a thousand years to grant wishes to a reserved woman. The fantasy romantic comedy drama premieres on October 3, with new episodes every Friday.
Kim Woo-bin, the male lead, recently appeared in Alienoid 2 and the Netflix action-comedy Officer Black Belt, while also exploring variety shows with You Reap What You Sow.
