Kajal Aggarwal has recently become another victim of social media death hoaxes. The Tamil and Telugu actress addressed the false claims about her alleged demise on social media.
In a witty post on X, the actress, famous for Thuppakki and Brahmotsavam, remarked that the rumor was “quite amusing because it’s completely false.”
I’ve seen some baseless news claiming I was in an accident (and no longer around!) and honestly, it’s quite amusing because it’s absolutely untrue.
By the grace of God, I want to assure you all that I am perfectly fine, safe, and doing very well ❤️
I kindly request…

“By the grace of God, I want to assure you all that I am perfectly fine, safe, and doing very well,” she added. “Let’s keep our focus on positivity and truth instead.”
Her statement came after a surge of rumors on social media on September 8, which falsely claimed the actress was in an accident and had died. Aggarwal’s clarification quickly dispelled these rumors.
Aggarwal began her acting career in the 2004 Bollywood romance drama Kyun! Ho Gaya Na… The film featured Vivek Oberoi, Amitabh Bachchan, and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, with Aggarwal in a minor role.
However, she soon established herself as a prominent actress in Tamil and Telugu cinema. Her first Telugu film was Lakshmi Kalyanam (2007), followed by her Tamil debut in Pazhani a year later. She has starred in many hits such as Magadheera, Naan Mahaan Alla, Temper, Comali, and Jilla.
Aggarwal, at 40, is among the highest-paid actresses in South Indian cinema. She was last seen in the Salman Khan movie Sikandar and will next appear in the Kamal Haasan-starrer Indian 3.
In October 2020, Aggarwal married businessman Gautam Kitchlu. They have a two-year-old son, Neil.
Celebrity death hoaxes are not a new trend. From Raza Murad to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Shreyas Talpade, and Norah Fatehi, many Indian celebrities have faced the discomfort of seeing their own obituaries and condolences on social media in recent years.
