Israel has been continuing its war on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023. Despite Arab and international mediation efforts and opposing voices within Israel, Netanyahu’s government insists on continuing the fight. Recently, they announced approval of a plan to take control of Gaza City, which international warnings suggest will lead to a humanitarian disaster, worsening the plight of Gaza’s residents. The war has resulted in the death of about 60,000 people and injured approximately 163,000 others.
