The 23-year-old French player, who joined in the summer of 2025 from Eintracht Frankfurt for £69 million, appeared in a video showing the car dashboard before turning the camera towards his face while driving, in clear violation of British traffic laws, according to British media. Ekitike, who has shone since joining the “Reds” by scoring a goal in the Community Shield and two goals in the Premier League against Bournemouth and Newcastle, recently contributed to his team’s victory over Arsenal with a 1-0 win in the Premier League summit. Liverpool has not yet issued an official comment regarding their new player’s actions, while fans are anticipating the repercussions of this violation on Ekitike’s career.
