The Israeli Army Radio reported on Tuesday evening that hundreds of thousands of Israelis took to the streets to demonstrate in ‘Asra Square’ or ‘Hatofim Square’ in Tel Aviv and the surrounding streets, demanding an end to the war and the completion of a prisoner exchange deal with Hamas. The radio confirmed that hundreds of thousands joined the families of prisoners held by Hamas in the Gaza Strip for the demonstration, which expanded and spread in ‘Hatofim Square’ and the surrounding streets.

It was noted that major roads across Israel were closed due to the protests demanding an agreement to recover the prisoners, with some roads blocked by setting car tires on fire.

In the same context, the Israeli army released preliminary findings from an investigation into its targeting of Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, Gaza Strip, on Monday. The army claims that Hamas used a camera at the hospital to monitor movements. According to Israeli media on the ‘X’ platform, Golani Brigade forces working in the area to dismantle terrorist infrastructure identified the camera as part of Hamas’s intelligence network. The army stated that the camera was used to guide terrorist activities against its forces.

According to the statement, the strike aimed to neutralize the threat posed by the camera, and the forces acted with this objective. The preliminary investigation was presented on Tuesday to the Chief of General Staff, Major General Eyal, by the Southern Command leader, who confirmed the investigation is ongoing.

The Israeli army noted that six of the deceased in the strike were identified as ‘terrorists’. The Palestinian Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis reported on Monday that 14 people, including three journalists, were killed in an Israeli bombing targeting the reception and emergency building. Media sources confirmed the death of four journalists in the strike.

The Government Media Office announced that the death toll of journalists since the start of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip in October 2023 has risen to 244 after four journalists were killed by Israeli shelling on the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip.

Simultaneously, the Civil Defense reported the martyrdom of one of its members and the injury of seven others while attempting to rescue the injured and recover the bodies of martyrs from the site. Recently, the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate announced that ‘the Israeli army has killed 219 journalists and media workers in the Palestinian media sector’ since the start of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip in October 2023.
