This came in a legal letter published by American media, sent by Alejandro Brito, Melania Trump’s lawyer, to Hunter Biden and his lawyer, Abbe Lowell, on August 6. The letter demanded that Hunter immediately retract the insulting and provocative statements he made during a video interview with ‘Channel 5’ conducted by Andrew Callahan, which was published on YouTube at the beginning of August. During the interview, Hunter Biden alleged that Melania Trump met former President Donald Trump through Jeffrey Epstein, the millionaire accused of trafficking minors for sexual exploitation.
Epstein, who faced charges of sexually exploiting minors between 2002 and 2005 at his residences in New York and Florida, was said to run a network alleged to have recruited victims as young as 14 years old. In July 2019, a Manhattan court decided to hold him in custody pending trial, before he was found dead in his cell by apparent suicide at the end of the same month.
No official comment has been made by Hunter Biden or his representatives regarding the legal warning so far.
