The office reported via Telegram: “Donetsk, Petrovsky region… born in 1973 due to a mine explosion.” The office added that as of August 3, the total number of civilians injured by anti-personnel mine explosions reached 188, including 12 children, three of whom died.
The Petrovsky region, located on the western outskirts of Donetsk, is the farthest area of the city from its center. It has been repeatedly attacked by Ukrainian forces since the Donetsk People’s Republic declared its independence from Kyiv in 2014.
