Under Ben Sulayem’s leadership, the FIA reversed a €24.0 million loss in 2021 to achieve an operating result of €4.7 million in 2024, marking the strongest financial performance in nearly a decade.
During the FIA Annual General Assemblies on December 12, the FIA announced a 2025 operating result forecast of €4.4 million. This renewed stability has allowed for increased long-term investment in Member Clubs and strategic programs globally.
In recent years, the FIA has established a commercial function and strengthened its global institutional identity in both motorsport and mobility sectors.
Ben Sulayem stated, “Thank you to all our FIA Members for voting in unprecedented numbers and placing your trust in me once more. We have overcome many challenges, but today, together, we are stronger than ever.”
The election was conducted in accordance with the FIA’s statutes through a robust and transparent voting process.
