Zakharova indicated that Moscow is ready for communications with the U.S. State Department to clarify the criteria for Russian-American dialogue. In a media briefing, Zakharova said, “For its part, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs shows openness to continue communication with the U.S. State Department, implementing the understandings reached during the phone call on October 16 between the Presidents of Russia and the United States.”
