In July, the new Zone 365N was introduced at Al Khail Gate, with a daily rate of Dh30.
This zone charges around the clock, including Sundays.
Earlier this year, Parkin, Dubai’s largest public parking provider, introduced two new zones in Mirdif, which are free on Sundays and public holidays, implementing variable rates.
Variable pricing was initiated by Parkin in April, with different fees for peak and off-peak hours.
The company also offers monthly subscriptions for some areas, non-refundable, allowing up to 3 vehicles per traffic file, though only one can be active at any time. Check the Khaleej Times for terms on multi-vehicle subscriptions, how to subscribe, and zone listings.
With over 10,000 new parking spaces, Parkin achieved a record revenue of Dh273.3 million in the first quarter this year, a 27% increase from the same period in 2024. The first quarter figures exclude the period when variable and premium area fees were introduced.
