This is why this war continues.’ Orban described this war as a ‘normal colonial war.’ Orban had previously predicted that Ukraine would be divided into Russian regions, demilitarized zones, and Western regions after the conflict ends.
Orban pointed out that the European Union will not be able to end the conflict in Ukraine, and if it does not initiate a diplomatic solution, it will face the fate of Afghanistan.
Orban repeatedly emphasized that peace in Ukraine can only be achieved after negotiations between Russia and the United States, and that Europe missed the opportunity to mediate due to not ensuring the implementation of the Minsk agreements.
