Set to be revealed at 7:50 pm UAE time, the display on the world’s tallest building symbolizes the strengthening relations between Pakistan and the UAE.
Meanwhile, the Indian flag is scheduled to illuminate the Burj Khalifa tomorrow in honor of India’s Independence Day, confirmed by the Indian consulate, with the ceremony taking place at 7:50 pm on Friday.

On Thursday, Pakistani missions in Dubai and Abu Dhabi marked the occasion with cake-cutting and flag-hoisting ceremonies.
Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Pakistan’s ambassador to the UAE, extended a warm welcome to attendees, congratulating the community on this significant day. He emphasized Unity, Faith, and Discipline as core values driving Pakistan’s socio-economic growth, and offered prayers for the nation’s peace, prosperity, and stability.
Hussain Muhammad, Consul General of Pakistan in Dubai, greeted community members with heartfelt congratulations, encouraging the Pakistani diaspora to continue contributing positively to both the UAE and Pakistan, praising their role in the prosperity of their host nation and support for their homeland.
The Indian and Pakistani communities together make up nearly half of the UAE’s population.
