The ministry condemned the incursion of Israeli Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir into the isolation sections of “Rimon” prison and his direct threat to Barghouti, according to the Palestinian news agency “Wafa” on Thursday. The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that it will follow up on this threat “very seriously” with the International Committee of the Red Cross and relevant international bodies, calling for urgent and effective intervention to protect the prisoners from the oppression of the occupation and ensure their immediate release. Earlier today, Israeli media published a video of Ben-Gvir meeting Marwan Barghouti in an isolated section of his prison, telling him that those who mess with a people will be erased.
