During a visit to one of the command points of the Joint Forces Group, President Putin stated, “Along the entire line of contact, the initiative is entirely in the hands of our armed forces.” During a meeting with the military, Putin requested a report on the situation in the area of responsibility of the Russian ‘North’ Group of Forces.

In the same context, the Chief of the Russian General Staff, Valery Gerasimov, reported to President Putin that more than 30% of the buildings in Kostyantynivka have come under the control of the Russian armed forces. Gerasimov continued, “The Russian armed forces are engaged in street battles in Siversk, expanding their area of control and liberating more than 100 buildings daily.”

He added, “Street fighting in Drobyshevo and Yarovaya on the Krasny Liman axis continues, and battles are also ongoing in the eastern and southeastern parts of Krasny Liman.” He noted, “The enemy cannot move south along the left bank of the Oskol River near Kupiansk as there is tight defense.”

He continued, “The ‘West’ Group of Forces focused their efforts on the Krasny Liman direction and the left bank of the Stary Oskol River,” and the Russian ‘West’ Group of Forces entered the city of Krasny Liman. He went on to say, “The Eastern Group of Forces is expanding its area of control in the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions, and the Russian army continues its strikes against Ukrainian military-industrial facilities and fuel and energy installations supporting their operations.”

Earlier today, Russian presidential spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin visited one of the command points of the Joint Forces Group on the evening of November 30, where he received reports on the liberation of Krasnoarmeysk in the Donetsk People’s Republic and Volchansk in the Kharkiv region.
