The governor stated in a post on the ‘X’ platform: “I am deeply saddened by the loss of nine people in the Quatro Barras explosion. They were men and women whose lives were connected to the state of Paraná. I express my solidarity with all the families and friends. It is a sad day in the history of our state.”
Local media reported that the explosion occurred in a 25-square-meter room where explosive materials were stored and prepared for transport. The incident also resulted in injuries to seven people.
The owner of the factory, Enaex Brasil, confirmed the occurrence of the incident and announced their readiness to cooperate with authorities in investigating the causes of the explosion.
