Dubai native Rayhan Thomas is gradually making his mark on the Korn Ferry Tour, achieving a notable tied-20th spot at the Simmons Bank Open for the Snedeker Foundation in Tennessee.
The 25-year-old, who plays from Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club, posted impressive rounds of 65, 66, 70, and 68, securing an 11-under-par total of 269 at the Vanderbilt Legends Club. This performance elevated him 16 places to 100th on the Korn Ferry Tour Points List for the season, with three Finals events still to come. He also ranks 693rd in the Official World Golf Ranking, backed by The R&A.
Since turning professional last summer, Thomas’s consistent progress is vital in this crucial year, as the Korn Ferry Tour Finals offer 20 exclusive PGA Tour cards for 2026. His steady play will be key as the field narrows through the four-event playoff series: 144 competitors at the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship (September 18–21), the top 120 at the Compliance Solutions Championship (October 2–5), and the top 75 at the Korn Ferry Tour Championship presented by United Leasing & Finance (October 9–12).
Unlike other tours, Korn Ferry standings accumulate throughout the season without resetting for the Finals, rewarding consistent excellence since the season’s start at the Bahamas Golf Classic in January. The season’s top player will earn full 2026 PGA Tour membership and exemptions for the 2026 U.S. Open and The Players Championship.
This season, Thomas has participated in 23 events, making the cut in 10 of them. He’s achieved two top-25 finishes, including a top-10. His best finish was a tie for seventh at the Bahamas Great Abaco Classic at The Abaco Club in January.
As Thomas continues to build his professional career, he remains focused on breaking into the top 20 to fulfill his PGA Tour dreams.
