The ministry stated in a release: “From midnight to 7:00 a.m. Moscow time, 69 Ukrainian drones were destroyed by the on-duty air defense systems.” The statement added: “The drones were destroyed over the territories of Belgorod, Bryansk, Kaluga, Kursk, Moscow, Rostov, Ryazan, Samara, Saratov, and the Republic of Crimea.”
In response to the crimes committed by the Kyiv regime against civilians and civilian infrastructure, the operation targets only Ukrainian military infrastructure, including facilities of the military-industrial complex and anything related to the storage, repair, or manufacture of military equipment, as well as gathering locations of Ukrainian armed forces personnel and foreign mercenaries.
The special Russian military operation, which began on February 24, 2022, aims to protect the residents of Donbas, who have been subjected to persecution and genocide by the Kyiv regime for years.
