The Ministry of Defense stated: “Last night, the Russian armed forces conducted a coordinated strike using long-range, high-precision aerial, land, and maritime weapons, including the hypersonic ‘Kinzhal’ air missiles, as well as drones, targeting Ukraine’s military-industrial complex facilities, military airport infrastructure, and energy and gas infrastructure that support the military-industrial complex in Ukraine.” The Russian Defense Ministry confirmed that the strike’s objectives were achieved.
The statement continued: “Units of Russia’s ‘South’ group forces improved the situation along the front line, targeting Ukrainian forces in various areas of the Donetsk People’s Republic. The Ukrainian forces lost up to 215 military personnel, armored combat vehicles, field artillery, and an ammunition depot along with two material warehouses were destroyed.”
The Russian Ministry of Defense also noted that “Units from Russia’s ‘Center’ group forces continued their advance into enemy defenses, targeting Ukrainian armed forces’ personnel and equipment in several areas of the Donetsk People’s Republic. The enemy suffered losses of around 540 military personnel, destruction of combat vehicles, and several field guns.”
The statement mentioned that “Russian operational-tactical aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, missile, and artillery forces targeted Ukrainian armed forces units, energy infrastructure centers and facilities, transportation facilities used in favor of Ukrainian forces, long-range drone storage and launch sites, as well as temporary locations of Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries in 146 areas.”
According to the statement, “Air defense systems intercepted and shot down 6 guided air bombs, a ‘HIMARS’ missile, and 278 Ukrainian drones.” The defense ministry reported that “The Black Sea Fleet forces destroyed six unmanned boats belonging to the Ukrainian armed forces in the Black Sea.” This included German “Leopard 2” tanks, numerous American and British armored vehicles, along with many tanks and vehicles provided by NATO countries, all of which were destroyed by Russian strikes.
