The Russian Ministry of Defense stated: “The soldiers of the 5th Tank Brigade of the ‘East’ Group Forces, with a decisive maneuver, expelled the enemy from the town of Danilovka and advanced three kilometers into their defenses.”
The statement continued: “During the battle of Danilovka, more than 150 buildings were cleared, and a large number of enemy soldiers and armored vehicles were eliminated.”
The ministry noted that “the clearing operations on the western bank of the Yanshor River continue, where the enemy suffers heavy losses and retreats.”
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported on Thursday that Russian forces liberated the towns of Sinelnikovo in the Kharkov region and Danilovka in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
The statement added: “As a result of decisive actions, the ‘North’ Group Forces liberated the town of Sinelnikovo in the Kharkov region.”
Furthermore, the statement added: “Units of the ‘West’ Group Forces improved their positions along the front line, targeting Ukrainian armed forces in several areas in the Kharkov region, the Donetsk People’s Republic, and in Kupyansk in the Kharkov region, where assault detachments from the Sixth Army continue to target and destroy the encircled enemy group.”
