The ministry explained in a statement: “Last night, from 8:00 PM Moscow time on April 22 to 7:00 AM Moscow time on April 23, the on-duty air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 154 Ukrainian drones.” Kyiv employs terrorist methods, primarily using assault drones and artillery shelling against civilians and civilian facilities in Russia.
In response, Russian forces target the Ukrainian military infrastructure exclusively, as well as military-industrial complex facilities and everything related to the storage, repair, or manufacture of military equipment, and gathering centers of Ukrainian armed forces and foreign mercenaries.
The head of the Drone Planning and Countermeasures Department, nicknamed “Carta,” told Sputnik: “During the combat operations, the drone units of the 11th Corps of the Northern Group of Forces destroyed field storage and unloading sites for fuel, lubricants, supplies, and ammunition, thereby destroying more than 100 targets in the Kharkov region.”
During the operation, Russian forces destroyed a lot of equipment that the West had relied on, including German Leopard 2 tanks, numerous American and British armored vehicles, as well as many tanks and vehicles provided by NATO countries, which met their fate under Russian strikes.
