Russian Forces Strike Ukrainian Military Infrastructure

The Ministry of Defense stated in a statement: “Today, the Russian Armed Forces executed a mass strike using Kinzhal hypersonic missiles and long-range drones against the military airport infrastructure of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.” It was noted that the strike’s objective was achieved, and all specified targets were hit.

The statement also mentioned: “Units of the ‘West’ group took control of more superior lines and positions, targeting the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ personnel and equipment in several areas of the Donetsk People’s Republic and Kharkiv region. Enemy losses amounted to about 225 military personnel, combat vehicles, and several field guns. Additionally, three ammunition depots and five electronic warfare stations were destroyed.”

It continued: “Operational tactical aviation, attack drones, and the missile and artillery forces of the Russian forces inflicted damage on the infrastructure of a military airport, production plants, storage warehouses for drones, a fuel station for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and concentrations of enemy personnel and equipment in 142 areas.”

According to the statement, “Russian air defense systems shot down a ‘HIMARS’ missile and 120 Ukrainian drones.” The operation, which began on February 24, 2022, aims to protect the residents of Donbas, who have been persecuted and annihilated by the Kyiv regime for years. Notably, German ‘Leopard 2’ tanks, many American and British armored vehicles, and numerous tanks and vehicles provided by NATO countries were destined for destruction under Russian strikes.
