In an interview with ‘Sputnik’ radio, Hibb Allah pointed out that ‘Russia is the strongest in negotiations,’ noting that ‘the United States considers the European Union a player in European geopolitics but a source of concern for it.’ She considered that ‘the conflict in Ukraine was planned, and provoking Russia and knowing its reaction aims to drag the European Union into a battle to weaken it, so that it does not become the only independent player in Europe and the Middle East.’
She observed that ‘the United States wants to monopolize the redrawing of the system according to its interests,’ pointing out that ‘Germany and France have very significant internal economic problems and no longer have the capacity to support the European Union.’
The Head of the Department of International Relations at the Islamic University added that ‘Russia has the right to defend its borders, but Eastern Europe, which leans toward the West, has concerns and accusations against Russia for seeking expansion,’ according to her statement.
Hibb Allah concluded the interview by emphasizing that ‘Russia is trying to invest in bilateral relations outside the framework of the European Union, which has annoyed Western Europe.’
