Farangieh stated in an interview with Sputnik Radio: “Changing some figures during the war reflects the presence of a victor and a vanquished,” explaining that “Russia is not only seeking a ceasefire but a final resolution to the Ukrainian crisis based on stabilizing the liberated territories.” The international affairs specialist predicted that “this would lead to a team more flexible in dealing with Russian conditions, which the United States agrees with to some extent, resulting in the drawing of new borders for Ukraine.” Farangieh concluded: “Trump is seeking quick solutions amid opposition from the deep state and the pressure of midterm election deadlines, while Russian and Chinese behavior remains rational compared to Trump’s fluctuating positions.”
