The Saudi Geological Survey stated that no noticeable effects were recorded within the Kingdom’s territory as a result of the earthquake, whose epicenter was within the waters of the Gulf. It confirmed that it uses advanced technological means in line with the latest global systems in the field of seismic monitoring, enabling it to detect and determine any seismic activity as quickly as possible and accurately assess its strength.
The authority also explained that it continuously monitors the situation in coordination with relevant regional authorities to ensure accurate tracking and update scientific data related to the Gulf.
