Shalini Pandey Joins Dhanush’s Idli Kadai

Actress Shalini Pandey is set to star alongside Dhanush in his eagerly anticipated directorial venture, Idli Kadai.

The filmmakers announced her involvement with a special poster showcasing her character.

Shalini, last seen in Maharaj, will portray Meera, sharing the screen with Dhanush, Nithya Menen, and Arun Vijay.

They welcomed her on their Instagram page, captioned: “Introducing the lovely @shalzp as MEERA #IdliKadai – in theatres from October 1st.”

On Ganesh Chaturthi, the film’s second track was unveiled.

The song, Enjaami Thandhaane, a vibrant folk tune by GV Prakash Kumar, released on August 27, rapidly gained fans’ interest.

Dhanush, who sings the track, is joined by Arivu’s rap and Subahshini’s vocals. GV Prakash Kumar, a recent National Award winner for Vaathi, composed the music.

Directed by Dhanush, Idli Kadai stars him in the lead role with Nithya Menen. The movie is set for an October 1 release. The duo previously collaborated on the 2022 success Thiruchitrambalam.

The film is produced by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films and Aakash Baskaran’s Dawn Pictures.
