The police confirmed that the extradition adhered to the established legal and judicial frameworks.

The Minister of Justice issued the extradition order, emphasizing the UAE’s commitment to combating fraud, enhancing international cooperation, and ensuring fugitives face justice.

This isn’t the first instance of the UAE extraditing wanted persons or dismantling crime networks operating internationally and within the Emirates.

Recently, the UAE extradited a man wanted for fraud, money laundering, and leading a criminal organization to France.

In August, the country extradited two international fugitives to France and Belgium, following their Red Notices from Interpol.

A few days earlier, a high-profile suspect from China was arrested and extradited for leading an organized crime network.

Dubai Police arrested the suspect, deemed “one of the most wanted by Chinese authorities,” under a red notice from Interpol.

In July, Sharjah Police arrested a man using his family as a cover for international drug trafficking, part of a larger operation dismantling a network smuggling drugs from Canada and Spain into the UAE.
