Anders Dahlman, a spokesperson for the Swedish police, told Western media: “We are currently striving to find the perpetrator or perpetrators.” He added: “We are conducting interviews with eyewitnesses and carrying out our technical investigations.” An online police statement reported that they have opened a preliminary investigation into attempted murder. The city of Örebro was the scene of a school shooting last February in which 11 people, including the perpetrator, were killed.
