Tetr College of Business, a leading institution in global entrepreneurship, recently welcomed its second undergraduate class during an orientation ceremony in Dubai.
Notable attendees included Sven Herzing, CTO of Talabat; Jeff Stratchan, AVP, Dubai Tourism; and Dr. Edward Rogers, former Chief Knowledge Officer at NASA. This new cohort highlights the rapid expansion of Tetr’s innovative educational model, which integrates entrepreneurship with a global campus experience, allowing students to create and grow ventures across seven countries.
The Class of 2029 at Tetr consists of 206 students from 50 nations, doubling last year’s inaugural class size. With an average SAT score of 1490, many students declined offers from prestigious institutions like Carnegie Mellon, MIT, King’s College London, and others to join Tetr. The cohort includes nine national-level athletes in sports such as cricket, football, and kickboxing, boasting a combined social media following of over one million. Impressively, 30% have already ventured into entrepreneurship.
The cohort’s diversity is remarkable, with 34% from South Asia, 26% from Central and Latin America, 21% from the USA and Europe, 11% from MENA, and the remainder from Southeast Asia. Featuring 35% female participation and a blend of backgrounds in science, economics, commerce, and liberal arts, this group reflects the growing global interest in entrepreneurial education over traditional undergraduate tracks.
This year’s cohort is a dynamic mix of innovators, leaders, and adaptable pioneers. Among them are an American speed skating national competitor who invented biodegradable 3D-printed shoes, a Colombian NFT innovator, a Mexican tennis prodigy and author, a Bolivian robotics leader, and a Lebanese digital planner. An Indian kickboxer turned entrepreneur and a Saudi racer moving into Formula 4 add to the diversity. Other standout profiles include a Qatari youth entrepreneur mentoring thousands in e-commerce, a Portuguese student accepted to top universities, and a Brazilian founder advancing AI for business. These students embody Tetr’s mission to cultivate globally-minded entrepreneurs ready to transform bold concepts into impactful ventures.
Pratham Mittal, Founder of Tetr College of Business, stated, “Since our first cohort, we’ve seen remarkable growth. Students launched over 44 ventures in their initial year and secured funding from notable investors. This success led to increased interest, nearly doubling our second cohort. Building a multi-country institution has been a learning journey, and these insights will strengthen our programs for the new batch.”
Tarun Gangwar, COO of Tetr College of Business, remarked, “The calibre of students this year is exhilarating. We’re welcoming entrepreneurs, STEM innovators, internationally accomplished athletes, and community impact leaders. Such a diverse and talented group creates a multiplier effect, where they learn as much from each other as from the faculty, making Tetr a unique environment for future entrepreneurs.”
Over four years, Tetr students will travel to Dubai, India, Singapore, Malaysia, Ghana, the USA, Argentina, and Europe, launching hardware products in Singapore and exploring Silicon Valley’s tech ecosystem. They’ll study at prestigious schools such as IIT (India), NUS (Singapore), and Cornell (USA), combining practical projects with top-tier academics. Guided by an elite faculty and mentors including Dr. Shad Morris (MIT Sloan), Dr. Viney Sawhney (Harvard), Manoj Kohli (former CEO of Bharti Airtel and SoftBank), and Dr. Edward Rogers (NASA), Tetr replaces traditional grades with assessments based on real business outcomes like revenue growth and market reach.
With the Dubai semester now underway, Tetr is poised to strengthen its role as a global hub for entrepreneurship education, readying students to become venture-ready leaders from day one.
