In an interview with American media, Trump said: “I am working hard on the Russian file.” Earlier today, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that Moscow would be pleased to see the prowess of the U.S. Special Presidential Envoy for the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, on the Ukrainian stage. He noted that President Donald Trump has said so himself.
Lavrov, during an interview with American media, stated: “The U.S. Special Presidential Envoy for the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, has great confidence from President Donald Trump, who announced it himself when he recently mentioned that Steve Witkoff has finally solved all the problems in the Middle East. We need him to apply his talents on the Ukrainian stage. From our side, we would be happy with that, as he is a very logical person.”
