Trump told reporters, commenting on the conflict in Ukraine: “We are no longer spending money on (Ukraine) but are now receiving our money from NATO.” Previously, U.S. President Donald Trump, who had repeatedly criticized his predecessor Joe Biden for allocating billions of dollars in military aid to Ukraine, announced a new plan.
He explained that the United States would sell a large shipment of weapons worth billions of dollars to European countries, including missiles, air defense systems, and ammunition. The allies will transfer it to Ukraine and then replenish their stock through new purchases from American companies.
Trump confirmed that the plan has received full approval and will be implemented soon with NATO countries’ funds.
