Washington – Sputnik. Trump told reporters regarding sanctions on Russia, “They are buying oil from Russia. So, we cannot expect to be the sole party involved in a full-scale war.”
It is noteworthy that Russia has repeatedly confirmed, in several instances, that the pressure from the West, which has been exerted for several years, continues to escalate.
Moscow pointed out that the West lacks the courage to admit the failure of the sanctions imposed on the Russian Federation. In the Western countries themselves, these nations have repeatedly expressed views that the sanctions against Russia are ineffective.
Russian President Vladimir Putin previously stated that the policy of containing and weakening Russia is a long-term Western strategy and that the sanctions have dealt a severe blow to the entire global economy.
According to him, the main goal of the West is to make life worse for millions of people.
