Trump Distances from Israeli Attack on Doha

The Israeli newspaper “Maariv” reported this Sunday morning that U.S. President Donald Trump has distanced himself from the Israeli attack on Doha, and the Israeli Prime Minister failed to achieve his goal with this attack. The newspaper quoted Israeli sources as saying that Netanyahu “will not hesitate to choose his personal interest over the state’s interest, and he has done so dozens of times.” This month, the Israeli army announced carrying out an air attack, stating that these leaders “bear direct responsibility for committing the massacre of October 7, 2023, and managing the war against Israel.” This Israeli attack comes days after the Chief of Staff of the Israeli army, Eyal Zamir, threatened to eliminate Hamas leaders abroad, amid ongoing tensions. Last year witnessed a series of Israeli assassinations targeting prominent leaders of “Hamas” in the Gaza Strip, Iran, and Lebanon.
