During an interview with Fox News, the U.S. President was asked whether the United States, or he himself, plans to help develop Gaza. U.S. President Donald Trump affirmed that there would be no American forces in the Gaza Strip, adding that there is no need for that.
Trump said today, Sunday, during an interview with Fox News: “We will not have ground forces [in the Gaza Strip], as there is no reason for that.”
Meanwhile, Jaco Sillers, the special representative of the UN Development Program for the Palestinian people, stated to journalists that rebuilding Gaza requires funding amounting to 70 billion dollars.
