In a conversation with ‘Sputnik’ radio, Jarrar pointed out that ‘what Trump did is unprecedented, as no other president in the world has criticized the United Nations from its podium, except for the former Libyan President Muammar Gaddafi, undermining its confidence by accusing it of failing to resolve international conflicts.’

Jarrar explained that ‘the message Trump wanted to convey from the United Nations podium is that what his administration accomplished in seven months, the Biden administration failed to achieve in four years. He called on leaders to align with the United States, emphasizing his interest in Europe’s security, customs issues, the environment, migration, and opportunities in the Middle East to create a new and different reality.’

He added that ‘Trump’s acknowledgment of what will happen behind the scenes with Arab and Muslim leaders regarding international recognition of the State of Palestine suggests the possibility of reaching conclusions on this issue, starting with ending the Gaza war and then moving to the next day.’

Jarrar concluded by considering that ‘Trump’s advantage lies in his decisive positions, such as withdrawing from UN-affiliated institutions that contradict its principles like the World Health Organization, and his reference to the use of biological weapons under the guise of scientific research.’ He confirmed that ‘his literary courage and frankness exceed the known protocol limits for presidents.’

Earlier today, President Donald Trump launched an attack, describing the United Nations as ‘not contributing to building peace,’ and mocked the building it occupies in New York. Trump said, ‘The United Nations has tremendous potential, but it does not even come close to the required level,’ noting that he is ‘in full fitness, unlike the United Nations.’
