CNN reported that there are concerns among European officials that Trump is extremely frustrated with the lack of progress in peace talks, to the extent that he might withdraw from them, blaming Ukraine and Europe for obstructing the agreement.
The Financial Times reported on Tuesday that Trump hopes to reach an agreement on a settlement in Ukraine by the end of the month.
Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry announced on Tuesday that communications between Russia and the United States are ongoing. Peskov told reporters, “We are waiting for the results of the discussion between the United States and Ukraine,” explaining that “the current communications do not focus on discussing the Ukrainian settlement, as the American side is currently holding discussions with Kyiv.”
