Launched in late 2024, this is the UAE’s first and only regulated lottery. Already, over 70 residents have secured Dh100,000 each. Currently, the chance of hitting the jackpot is 1 in over 8 million.
Although the Dh100-million prize remains unclaimed, two participants have won Dh1 million. “Someone in the UAE will definitely win the Dh100 million,” stated Bishop Woosley, director of Lottery Operations at The Game, which manages the UAE Lottery, in a statement to Khaleej Times.
The UAE Lottery allows participants to win prizes ranging from Dh100 to Dh100 million. Scratch cards are available with a top prize of Dh1 million.
While tickets can be purchased through the website, the company is planning to launch an app soon. Additionally, as per Bishop’s announcement, tickets will “soon” be available at retail locations like convenience stores and gas stations, though no specific date has been provided.
